Summary
Join Voodoo's Live Games team as a Senior Game Artist and contribute to the success of our globally renowned game, Hole.io. This fully remote position (CET +/-2h) offers the chance to collaborate with industry experts on a high-performing title. You will create and implement high-quality 3D assets in Unity, working closely with developers and the Art Director. The role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in game art, proficiency in Blender, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Game artist or any other relevant experience in the gaming industry, preferably in mobile games
- Excellent communication skills with team members of different departments
- Familiarity with remote optimised workflows, able to work with autonomy and asynchronous communication
- Commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality
- Aligning the art team's output with the studio and Art directorβs vision
- Passion for casual games and extensive knowledge of different game genres across all platforms
- Strong knowledge of the technical constraints relating to Unity engine and level editors
- Proactive attitude and strong work ethic to inspire others
- Excellent written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for the game
- Ensure proficiency in Blender, with Substance Painter and ZBrush as a plus
- Utilize vertex coloring for texturing, aligning with the project's style
- Maintain art standards and a clean project repository (SourceTree/Git) in collaboration with developers and artists
- Work closely with the Art Director and other teams to enhance project quality
- Collaborate across departments to solve challenges and make strategic decisions
- Oversee 3D asset implementation in Unity, ensuring optimization
