Senior Graphic Designer

Summary

Join Koala as a Senior Graphic Designer to contribute to the company's creative needs across various platforms. You will create engaging designs for digital marketing, product launches, and internal branding, ensuring brand consistency and scalability. Key responsibilities include designing graphics and videos for various channels, supporting affiliate and YouTube creative, developing internal materials, and translating briefs into on-brand assets. You will also iterate on designs based on performance data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated on creative trends. The role requires proficiency in video editing and Adobe CC software, experience with social media and 360° campaigns, and an associate's degree in graphic design or a related field. The salary range is $90,000 to $95,000.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years experience in a graphic design role or similar
• Proficient with video editing and Adobe CC software
• Experience with social media
• Ability to design across platforms for 360° campaigns
• Minimum educational level: Associates in graphic design or a related field
• Ability to clearly communicate design choices

Responsibilities

• Follow brand guidelines to create graphics, videos, and other creative across all platforms (including, but not limited to, digital ads, paid and organic social media, email, direct mail, website, etc)
• Design engaging static and video creatives for Meta and other platforms
• Support affiliate and YouTube channel creative build-outs as channels expand
• Develop internal-facing materials (employer branding, decks, PDFs, one-pagers)
• Translate briefs and directives into on-brand assets that meet business goals
• Iterate and optimize creative based on click-through and engagement performance
• Copywriting for content as needed
• Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and CX teams on 360 campaigns
• Support web, landing pages, and pop-up design needs
• Analyze the competitive landscape and present findings to the team
• Collaborate with other designers and freelancers as needed
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the creative landscape, trends, and software
• Assisting in conceptualizing and brainstorming creative ideas
• Creating and updating briefs, decks, templates, or guidelines
• Utilize provided data and analytics to guide design decisions
• Adhere to a fast-paced yet flexible working rhythm aligned with seasonal business needs
• Present work to the team, and adjust design decisions according to feedback
• Assist in influencer discovery, communication, and negotiation
• Meet deadlines, assure work is high quality and reflects brand standards

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the DTC, retail, and /or high-ticket product industry a plus
