Summary

Join Snapsheet as a Senior Implementation Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering and supporting our software products for enterprise and mid-market clients. This full-time, remote position involves implementing complex enterprise claims solutions, building and maintaining a middleware service for integrations, and providing technical support and training. You will work extensively with APIs, design data migration tools, and ensure seamless interoperability between Snapsheet's platform and third-party systems. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is essential. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in API integration, Ruby on Rails, and customer-facing software implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software implementation experience in a customer-facing role (experience in Insurance or Insurtech domains strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Ruby, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrations with APIs and web applications across multiple programming languages

Responsibilities

  • Work extensively with APIs for seamless client system integration, including developing and optimizing migration and integration tools and scripts
  • Assist and inform customers on API functionality and integration processes, providing technical support and training
  • Design and develop tools/scripts for data migration and system integration
  • Contribute to the architecture, development, and maintenance of Snapsheet’s OOTB integration service
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between Snapsheet’s claims platform application and third-party systems
  • Write maintainable and scalable code, primarily in Ruby on Rails, to support integrations
  • Provide technical guidance to clients around integration strategies and implementation best practices
  • Deliver hands-on support and training related to API usage and integration challenges
  • Document integration processes and maintain clear technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Implementation, Support, and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals, ensure compatibility and integration of systems and technologies, and discuss project requirements, timelines, and deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and/or supporting middleware or integration-layer applications (Ruby on Rails experience preferred)
  • Customer-oriented approach to solving problems and providing hands-on support
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze, design, and build complex processes
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership to drive technical challenges to completion working collaboratively with both internal and client-facing technical resources
