Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

The job is for a role in DataCamp's infrastructure team, where the employee will manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, logging, monitoring, and security. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience with AWS, Docker, K8s, web development, security tooling, Infrastructure-as-code, and preferably data engineering principles and API-gateways or service meshes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of administering/maintaining infrastructure related tools (AWS, Docker, K8s)
• 2+ years experience advising on/implementing deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
• 2+ years of web development experience (javascript, go, python, node, ruby)
• 2+ years of security tooling experience (sonarcloud, vulnerability scanning tooling)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc)

Responsibilities

• Manage company wide shared resources which support our microservice architecture
• Advise development teams on infrastructure best practices for all DataCamp projects
• Ensure commercial availability of the DataCamp Platform for customers
• Enable development teams to deploy their applications as seamlessly as possible

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of data engineering principles
• Experience with API-gateways or service meshes (Kong, Istio, etc)
• Passion for data science and education
