Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a senior-level infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or security role
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS and Azure is fine), tuning and scaling microservices infrastructure, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Expertise in automation tools (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, etc.)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure for our microservices architecture
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including automation, monitoring, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication
- Develop API integrations with external systems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
