Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves architecting infrastructure, optimizing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience (or equivalent!) developing production-ready, scalable solutions
• Skills: Strong knowledge of hosting, observability, CI/CD, testing infrastructure & paradigms, architecture & database design and administration, modern IaS tools and technologies, governance & security, incident response & disaster recovery
• Leadership: Passion for mentoring and coaching—help your peers grow while advancing your skills
• Agile & Lean Methodologies: Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or Linear and associated planning practices
• Version Control: Strong proficiency in Git and an understanding of version control best practices

Responsibilities

• Architect the Foundation: Build the infrastructure that powers Rose Rocket's platform, enabling our product teams to develop and deliver stable & high quality solutions for logistics customers rapidly, and with confidence
• Scale & Optimize: Design systems that are not only scalable, cost-effective, and efficient, but also adaptable to the ever-evolving needs of the logistics industry
• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams and product-focused engineers to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and feature development
