Requirements

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
• Proven experience in developing scalable training solutions for diverse audiences
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding content updates and improvements
• Experience with data analytics to track content utilization and effectiveness
• Familiarity with agile development processes and collaborative tools and ability to deliver quality content at a rapid pace
• Knowledge of current trends in technology and education
• A capacity to learn new things quickly and express your knowledge in a meaningful way
• A desire to learn as much as possible about the internals and use cases of the Elastic Stack
• Excited to work with a highly distributed team and collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructional materials that are consistent with organizational guidelines and standards
• Ensure content is delivered within the provided guidelines and standards while meeting the learning objectives
• Facilitate feedback from various training delivery formats back to the content team, and improve team guidance, templates, and processes as informed by provided feedback
• Implement systems to track and search instructional content
• Correlate content coverage with feature utilization data to identify gaps and opportunities for updates
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, collaborators, and team members to minimize duplicated effort and content overlap, and to resolve issues with content discovered in the field
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and contributions
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of instructional content to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Use feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve training materials
• Adapt training materials to suit different learning styles and technical proficiency levels
• Develop and deliver instructional design guidelines, workshops, and recommendations tailored for a diverse audience of engineers who create educational content
• Work with the engineering team, content team, and subject matter experts to improve existing courses and to create new learning objectives
• Stay updated on technology trends and advancements in the Elastic Stack
