Senior Intermediate Support Specialist, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The Program Support Specialist will work directly with the Delivery Manager and DRT Senior Management to ensure timely delivery of all projects within scope and budget. The role involves leading project management domains over the entire lifecycle of public health technology projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing partner-specific project plans, managing relationships, defining project scope and objectives, collaborating with stakeholders, providing testing and resolution for application issues, analyzing business and user needs, writing and maintaining project documentation, creating and maintaining project schedule and progress reports, and leading weekly and bi-weekly project meetings.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust with the US federal government
• At least two years of experience supporting public health projects
• At least seven years’ leading IT development or analytical projects or with collaborating with technical teams
• Knowledge of Agile processes, Azure DevOps, JIRA or other project management platforms commonly used in software development
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Well-organized, proactive, and works well in a team-setting
• Skilled in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborators
• Skilled in translating public health information, data, and concepts to functional technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Public health project experience
• Tribal community involvement experience
