Senior Intune Engineer

Summary

Join Burwood Group, a leading technology consulting firm, as an Endpoint Management/Intune Engineer. This 6-month W2 contract-to-hire position offers remote work and the opportunity to design, deploy, and manage devices using Microsoft AutoPilot and Intune. You will also be responsible for managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments using Nerdio. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience with Microsoft AutoPilot, Intune, AVD, and Nerdio, along with strong cloud-based device management and VDI understanding. Requirements

• Proven experience with Microsoft AutoPilot, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Nerdio
• Strong understanding of cloud-based device management and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills to effectively share knowledge with other team members
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and identity management
• Experience with SCCM

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage devices through Microsoft AutoPilot and Intune to ensure efficient onboarding, configuration, and management
• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Implement Nerdio for AVD management to streamline deployment, reduce costs, and ensure high availability
• Monitor and maintain performance, availability, and stability of end-user computing systems and services
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for device management, remote desktop, and virtualization issues
• Develop and document processes, procedures, and policies related to end-user computing services, device management, and virtual desktops

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications related to AutoPilot, Intune, or Azure Virtual Desktop
