Join Exodus as a Senior Investment Analyst and contribute to strategic financial planning and M&A activities within our B2B revenue streams. You will own monthly forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking, partner with various teams to evaluate growth initiatives, and lead month-end close analysis. In the corporate development and M&A sphere, you will develop and maintain merger models, conduct company valuations, coordinate internal diligence efforts, and create investment memos and presentations. This hybrid role requires strong financial modeling and valuation skills, experience in FP&A or investment banking, and exceptional communication abilities. The ideal candidate will bring investment banking-level rigor to a high-growth, crypto-native environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, CPA, or MBA a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills; mastery of Excel required, experience with PowerPoint, Slack, and Google Slides for executive-level storytelling
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Own monthly forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking for B2B revenue lines, including our exchange aggregator, Swap flows, DeFi partners, and other ecosystem partnerships
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and BD teams to evaluate growth initiatives, validate TAM, and develop financial models to assess business impact
- Lead month-end close analysis, provide variance commentary, and contribute to executive reporting
- Serve as the finance liaison to third-party B2B partners, ensuring accurate data exchange and alignment on financial expectations
- Develop and maintain detailed merger models (accretion/dilution, pro forma financials, working capital flows & targets, Funds Flow, synergies, etc.) to support transaction evaluation
- Conduct in-depth company valuations using DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and other investment banking methodologies
- Coordinate internal diligence efforts across functions (Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering) and synthesize findings for decision-making
- Create investment memos, board materials, and executive presentations to communicate deal rationale, risks, and financial impact
- Track and refine the M&A pipeline; support the development of our M&A framework and post-close integration playbook
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or experience in fintech, crypto, or digital assets
- Advanced certifications in finance or accounting (e.g., CFA, CPA)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
