Senior IT Collaboration Engineer

Summary

Join Databricks as an IT Collaboration Engineer and help manage and optimize collaboration tools and platforms, enhancing employee productivity and ensuring seamless communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science preferred) and 5+ years of experience administering and/or engineering collaboration tools with a focus on Google Workspace, Slack, Secure Email gateways, chatbots as well as automation
• Proficient in managing Gmail enterprise tenants under Google Workspace
• Experience in automation scripting using Python, Go, Powershell, Javascript, Okta workflows or other relevant languages and automation
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to collaboration tools and data handling
• The ability to identify root causes of issues
• Excellent documentation skills
• Experience working on multi-functional, cross-team projects

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize collaboration tools, including G Suite, Slack, Glean, Moveworks, GitHub, Confluence, Jira, iPaas, Pager Duty, Teams etc
• Ensure these tools align with defined standards and enhance overall employee collaboration
• Manage email gateway solutions, ensuring secure communication and adherence to data compliance standards
• Collaborate with Legal and compliance teams to fulfill eDiscovery requests using vendor tools or custom code/APIs
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity enhancements while solving problems
• Streamline search functionalities for seamless navigation
• Develop and implement metadata standards to improve search relevance and accuracy
• Ensure that employees can effortlessly locate information, colleagues, and resources within our collaboration ecosystem
