Summary

Join Stitch Fix's Enterprise IT Service Delivery team as a Senior Network Engineer and play a pivotal role in transforming our expanding IT team. You will support daily network operations across various physical locations, create comprehensive documentation, and promote best practices using ITSM or similar models. This role supports our San Francisco headquarters, remote offices, distribution centers, engineers, and stylists within a Cisco Meraki network environment. You will work primarily with the cloud-based Cisco Meraki Dashboard, provide remote support, manage network builds, configure and maintain Cisco Meraki equipment, establish best practices for firmware updates, perform wireless site surveys, manage monitoring tools, and manage ISP connectivity. You will also manage authentication, oversee network-connected hardware, maintain IT tickets and change management, maintain accurate inventory, and foster a positive work environment. Mentoring coworkers and participating in on-call support are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • You have 8 - 12 years of experience with Cisco Meraki networks in multiple site / distributed physical locations
  • You have experience in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, traffic shaping, building resilient and high availability secured networks
  • Your experience includes at least 6+ years of administering and designing  large corporate networks
  • You have advanced troubleshooting skills of LAN, WAN and internet connectivity
  • You manage network-dependent applications and services such as VOIP and video conferencing systems
  • You interact effectively with local and remote IT resources, providing hands-on support and ability to lead network projects
  • You communicate effectively while resolving network troubleshooting tickets and diligently draft postmortem and root cause analysis (RCA) reports during the incident resolution process
  • You can draft and maintain technical documentation effectively

Responsibilities

  • Work primarily with the cloud-based Cisco Meraki Dashboard for network configuration and optimization
  • Provide remote support to on-site IT specialists and end-users across multiple locations, responding to escalations and automated alerts
  • Manage existing and new facility network builds, ensuring robust configurations and seamless integration
  • Configure and maintain Cisco Meraki MX security appliances , MS switches , and MR wireless access points
  • Establish best practices and timelines for validating and deploying network firmware updates and warehouse automation systems
  • Perform periodic wireless site survey and heatmap reports to ensure optimal coverage, performance, and capacity using Ekahau
  • Manage remote network monitoring and observability tools like AppNeta, Datadog
  • Manage ISP connectivity and contract relationships, including failover and high network availability
  • Manage authentication with 802.1X and EAP-TLS integrated with MDM platforms
  • Oversee network-connected hardware and services, including VOIP , security cameras, Zoom room equipment and time clock systems
  • Keep IT tickets and change management organized with SLA using Freshservice (similar ITIL experience are welcome)
  • Maintain accurate inventory, asset tracking, and change management records
  • Foster a positive work environment, making IT a memorable experience for all co-workers
  • Use productivity tools like GSuite , Okta , Slack , Zoom and Freshservice effectively
  • Mentor and assist co-workers and vendors for continuity of policies and procedures instituted by our team
  • Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule for IT network or related issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Utilize log management tools like DataDog or Splunk to diagnose network issues and monitor health
  • Assist in asset tracking and physical inventory management of network hardware
  • Evaluate new products and technologies as part of the network hardware lifecycle
  • Provide network support for AV systems – Zoom, DialPad, and ScreenCloud – functioning well and assist in running larger all-hands style meetings and webinars
  • Familiar in managing cloud services ( like AWS compute, storage,networking), warehouse automation systems, UPS power management system and related AI tools
  • Having relevant networking and wireless engineer certifications is a plus
