Senior AWS Network Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior AWS Network Engineer who will design, implement, and maintain the AWS network infrastructure for Talentus, a US company with a strong presence in LATAM and around the world. The position is remote or near shore and lasts for 6 months with potential renewal.

Requirements

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification preferred
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining AWS network infrastructure
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, IPSec VPN, and BGP
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services and tools
• Proficiency in network security best practices and tools

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Configure and manage AWS networking services and tools, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53
• Apply network security best practices and implement robust security measures to protect AWS environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design network architectures that meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and architectures
• Provide guidance and support to team members on network-related queries and best practices
• Stay current with AWS updates and industry trends to continuously improve network infrastructure and practices

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended
