Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of experience as a project manager
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certification(s)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk assessment, change management, quality assurance, performance, and control measures to ensure completion of projects in accordance with established standards, schedules, and budget parameters
- Lead a diverse IT project team comprised of engineers with expertise in different subject matter areas, architects, cloud strategists, and project managers from initiation to production implementation, track project details to ensure expected results are achieved
- Create, manage, and control project schedules and all required activities to ensure alignment with multiple schedules and requirements across all workstreams
- Develop and implement risk assessment, change management, quality assurance, performance, and control measures to ensure completion of projects in accordance with established standards, schedules, and budget parameters
- Develop project artifacts: project plan, implementation plans with milestones, weekly status reports, agendas, and meeting minutes paying attention to detail
- Maintain and manage program level budgets for various workstreams and across multiple SOWs for a single customer
- Responsible for the effective communication of project status, issues, risks, and budgetary information to key stakeholders and leadership
- Meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements to discuss ongoing work, discuss opportunities and address any challenges
- Prepare and present information related to project progress, vision, roadmap, status reports, and other topics to senior levels of leadership
- Manage project scope and identify and prepare necessary change orders
- Oversee budget and record keeping; personnel management; contract management; project schedule and meeting all applicable regulations, policies, and requirements
- Review customer invoices and assist the accounting department as needed with related questions
- Complete projects on schedule by the outlined deadline(s)
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
