Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education
• Minimum 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager
• 5+ years of experience in development technologies like CA Gen, COBOL, DB2, or similar relational databases
• Expertise in CA Gen workstation toolsets
• Strong skills in SQL, COBOL, JCL, and relational database systems (DB2, Oracle)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize financial systems and dependent business processes
• Document critical business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Lead development, maintenance, and enhancements for financial applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
• Oversee and support testing processes, from inception to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems with organizational goals
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in development technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of web server and batch procedures, Active Server Pages, and Visual Studio/.NET
• Familiarity with methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall
