Senior Java Developer

Summary

Join our team to design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects. You will be actively involved in full-stack development, proposing architectural decisions, and participating in design reviews. Requirements

• At least 3 years of job-related work experience
• Proficiency in Java core knowledge in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Experience in developing low latency, GC-free and large-scale systems
• Relevant experience in optimizing applications, improving performance, and increasing fault capability
• Proficiency in design principles, design patterns and automated testing best practices
• Good English reading, writing and listening skills

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack applications
• Propose architectural decisions
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Implement, test, and release software
• Design, build, and maintain a high-performance platform for derivatives trading systems
• Establish a quick turnaround deployable system with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery
• Identify and implement solutions to complex problems in backend infrastructure and platforms
• Analyze and solve difficult problems across the stack
• Work closely with the security team, operations, and infrastructure to build highly secure and scalable backend services
• Manage documentation of all code and functionalities implemented
• Design and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale platforms
• Work closely with DevOps to improve the tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in responsive programming and websocket development
• Relevant experience in microservices design, development, and deployment
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as agile development, test-driven development and scrum
