Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in web application development, with a focus on modern Laravel PHP development
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Be motivated and thrive when given autonomy to execute

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain our in-house patient management system, ensuring the highest standards of quality, performance, and security are maintained
  • Integrate with partner platforms such as Shopify, Hubspot, Zendesk, Acuity Scheduling, GSuite, and StarShipIt
  • Establish technology-based integrations with healthcare providers such as laboratories and doctors
  • Continuously monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development and AI, and share knowledge with the team
  • Update and maintain our user-facing onboarding portal
  • Collaborate closely with other developers, the Head of Engineering, our Senior Product Manager, Designer, Genetic Counselors, and Growth team to deliver high-quality products in a timely fashion
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with React, GraphQL and Tailwind
  • Experience with serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation
  • Experience in a DevOps role or a specific interest in that space
