Senior PHP Developer

Summary

Requirements

• 4+ years experience
• Excellent knowledge and skills in PHP, OOP & MySQL
• Experience with various MVC frameworks
• Experience in JavaScript
• Comfortable with TDD/BDD practices
• Comfortable with following specific coding standards
• Linux experience
• Good communication skills
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Proactive, self-motivated to learn and improve

Responsibilities

• Perform backend web development
• Design and implement complex websites, workflows, APIs, plugins, etc
• Deliver code with the highest quality, following specific coding standards
• Perform TDD/BDD using various tools like PHPUnit
• Work on multiple dynamic projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building APIs and API clients using latest standards
• Experience with leading frameworks like Laravel, Lumen, Slim, Symfony, etc
• Experience with WordPress: building plugins or themes from scratch
• Experience with TDD/BDD, e.g. PHPUnit
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3 or 4
• Experience with React
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
