Senior PHP Developer

Summary

Join Ulula, a social enterprise improving working conditions globally, as a PHP (Laravel) Developer. Based in Warsaw or remotely in Poland, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. Collaborate with the development team, write clean and efficient code, optimize application performance, and stay updated on the latest technologies. This hybrid/remote role reports to the R&D Engineering Leader. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer working in an Agile environment
• Six plus (6+) years experience building enterprise grade software
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven, continuous integration and deployment environment
• Strong proficiency in PHP, RESTful APIs, relational databases
• In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with PHP frameworks, and VCS like Git
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with design patterns and architectural principles

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel
• Collaborate with the development team to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with .NET
• Knowledge and experience with React
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit)
