Summary

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience: You have 7+ years experience in compensation. Expertise in incentive plan design is required, including bonus, equity, and commission experience
  • Stakeholder partnership: Demonstrated experience acting as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders and HRBPs, with an ability to influence and provide strategic counsel
  • Project management: You are highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. You can independently drive results from scoping and planning through execution and delivery, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met
  • Decision making: You are comfortable making sound decisions under pressure and ambiguity
  • Data & analytics: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable using and manipulating data to drive tangible results. You don’t rely on others to do this for you
  • Attention to detail: You sweat the details. You know what top tier performance looks like because you have been a high achiever yourself
  • Communication and collaboration: You are able to communicate complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience. You have excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and teams
  • Creativity: You are comfortable with thinking outside of the box and being open to new ideas. You are curious and take initiative to experiment with new ideas, technologies, and solutions

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary compensation partner and main point of contact for HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation design requests and cross-functional projects
  • Own and evolve all employee-facing Total Rewards resources, including leading Total Rewards education series and onboarding sessions to ensure our philosophy and programs are well understood
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of variable pay programs, including the design and administration of commission plans for our Sales organization
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide counsel on evolving compensation practices and pay frameworks
  • Lead the execution of complex compensation projects and support the production of Compensation Committee materials, as needed
  • Quickly master our Compensation Philosophy and Strategy, and our existing total rewards frameworks, structures, and programs
  • Establish strong partnerships with the People Operations team and key stakeholders to deepen business context and build trust
  • Partner closely with the Head of Total Rewards to support cross-functional projects
  • Develop and begin executing on an education strategy for our compensation programs, ensuring our stakeholders are well-equipped and our employees have a solid understanding of total rewards
