You will leverage your strong analytical skills and U.S. lease practice expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role involves collaboration with teams in India and the U.S. and includes responsibilities such as preparing monthly rent rolls, reviewing operating expenses, and overseeing lease abstraction. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (3-5 years in lease administration or related areas)
  • Experience with U.S. lease terms, conditions, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel, Word, Sheets, Docs)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of the monthly rent roll according to lease provisions
  • Review and reconcile operating expenses and tax statements for the lease portfolio
  • Communicate with landlords regarding lease payments, charges, and renewals
  • Oversee lease abstraction, compliance, and administration processes
  • Conduct full-scope desktop and annual audits for corporate leases, ensuring compliance and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Supervise and review work completed by the team in India
  • Ensure accurate financial recording of lease-related credits and charges
  • Act as a team lead in preparing CAM reconciliations and maintaining adherence to company standards
  • Develop training materials and best practices for operating expense reconciliation and tenant recovery processes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with lease management software (e.g., Visual Lease, NetSuite)
