Requirements
- A law degree and a strong foundation in legal principles
- Experience in the tech industry and a passion for technology-driven businesses
- Proven expertise from both law firm and in-house roles
- Knowledge of international and global jurisdictions
- A solution-focused mindset, with a knack for identifying opportunities in challenges
- The ability to leverage technology and AI to automate and optimize legal processes
Responsibilities
- Lead Legal Contracting: Own the internal legal contracting process with a focus on commercial legal matters and customer agreements
- Guide Negotiations: Support and participate in commercial negotiations with our customers and partners
- Be the Legal Expert: Act as the main point of contact for all internal legal queries and tasks, solving issues independently or liaising with external partners
- Collaborate with Advisors: Work closely with our external legal partners to ensure seamless document and information flow
- Strategize for Growth: Help design TheyDoβs legal strategy and ensure readiness for future fundraising efforts
- Manage Contracts: Maintain our internal contract registry and work on legal contracts globally
- Stay Ahead of Regulations: Keep up to date with the regulatory landscape relevant to TheyDo
- Automate Processes: Use technology and AI to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Startup/scaleup experience (a plus, but not essential)
