Senior M365 & Exchange Engineer

Summary

Join Encora's Workforce Engineering Team in Brazil as a Senior member to lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 services, focusing on Exchange Online, Security & Compliance, and collaboration tools. This full-time, work-from-home position demands deep technical expertise in M365 technologies and advanced troubleshooting skills. You will drive migrations and transformation initiatives in hybrid or cloud-first environments, playing a key role in McAfee's Exchange M365 journey. The role involves designing and implementing scalable and secure M365 solutions, serving as a subject matter expert, and leading migration projects. You will also configure and maintain tenant settings, develop governance policies, and provide Tier 3 support and mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 services
• Hands-on experience managing Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange environments, and email migrations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, Entra Connect, and Intune
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for M365 and Exchange Online administration
• Deep understanding of email hygiene, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• SendGrid SMTP experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure M365 solutions, particularly focused on Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Exchange Online, supporting hybrid configurations, mail flow, security, and compliance settings
• Lead migration projects from on-premises Exchange or third-party platforms to Exchange Online
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including licensing, policies, security, and feature rollout
• Develop and enforce governance, compliance, and retention policies
• Integrate and Implement Conditional Access Policies for M365
• Monitor system performance, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis for M365-related issues
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and reporting
• Stay current with Microsoft 365 product developments and advise stakeholders on new features and best practices
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Desktop teams to ensure a secure and seamless user experience
• Provide Tier 3 support and mentorship to junior engineers or support teams
