Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing multi-million dollar Google Ads campaigns, particularly in Search and Shopping (at a media agency a plus)
  • Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor members of a top-performing Media & Acquisition team
  • Hands-On-Keys / Technical experience creating, deploying, and optimizing media campaigns
  • Mastery of digital buying platforms (Google Ads & Microsoft Ads)
  • Experience leading and training media buyers
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insights
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Desire to join a small, growing team

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director, operating as their right-hand person, and managing the team to bring the Director's strategic vision to life
  • Manage and mentor internal media buyers - guiding strategy, delegating tasks, QAing, and coaching as needed
  • Directly manage Search & Shopping campaigns across Google & Microsoft
  • Work closely with the team to manage and optimize Display and Native campaigns across Google and Microsoft
  • Track performance and optimize campaigns to achieve sales and efficiency goals using last-touch and custom attribution models
  • Manage channel and campaign budgets, making recommendations on strategies to maximize performance
  • Brainstorm, identify, scope, and prioritize new test initiatives
  • Design and execute audience, targeting, landing page, and creative tests; report and evaluate results to drive future recommendations
  • Collaborate with our in-house marketing analytics team to deep dive into performance and understand channel interactions
  • Monitor and report on daily campaign performance, conduct analyses, and investigate performance changes
  • Conduct inventory audits and establish bidding strategies to improve campaign performance and reach new groups of customers
  • Motivate & encourage employees at all levels, creating an environment where team members understand the vision and strategy
  • Provide quarterly feedback to direct reports and career development opportunities
  • Set team and individual goals quarterly - ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives
  • Create measurable metrics for employees; both on sales results and operational efficiency
  • Mentor and empower employees by allowing them to perform their duties, and make mistakes, which can then be used as teaching opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing Display and Native campaigns, YouTube/Video a plus
  • Experience with Amazon Sponsored Ads, DV360, or The Trade Desk a plus
  • Advanced skills in Google Analytics (GA4 a plus)
