Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence

Identify ideal customers and opportunities for references, win stories, and competitive feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in B2B competitive intelligence including proven success in driving competitive messaging, positioning and sales enablement
• Ability to gather intelligence from research and data, present findings and decisions, influence stakeholders, and execute independently on initiatives
• Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
• Must be able to switch regularly and rapidly between strategy and execution
• Comfort and experience in presenting to diverse audiences, from small groups to large events, with the ability to engage, persuade, and communicate Coupa’s competitive differentiators effectively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance a comprehensive competitive intelligence framework to monitor market trends, competitive activities and other industry disruptions to identify strategic opportunities, potential threats and market gaps
• Leverage an understanding of key personas, use cases, and value drivers for Coupa products to drive our integrated marketing strategy with clear, concise competitive positioning and messaging
• Partner closely with our Global Sales and Customer Success teams to gather intelligence and implement enablement strategies
• Directly influence our product roadmap and vision by sharing competitive insights with Product Management leadership
• Evangelize the Coupa story by delivering compelling presentations at live and virtual events for internal and external audiences
• Identify ideal customers and opportunities for references, win stories and competitive feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA a plus
• Experience with Salesforce.com , Tableau, Clozd, Crayon, Highspot
• Experience with Procurement or Finance SaaS solutions
