Summary

Join Spring Health, a leading mental healthcare provider, as a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Manager. This remote role requires managing the day-to-day activities of the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in compliance management, preferably within healthcare or insurance sectors
  • At least 3 years of healthcare auditing experience and knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Managed Care)
  • Certification required: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), or a similar certification
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with program and project management

Responsibilities

  • Support and Drive the Enhancement of our Internal Compliance Program to ensure effectiveness and alignment with the seven elements
  • Policy Management Oversight. Develop, review, and update compliance policies and support the Policy Review Committee in discharging their policy management framework
  • Conducting Compliance Training: Design and deliver engaging compliance training programs for employees to foster a culture of compliance and ethical practice throughout the organization
  • Managing Incident Investigations: Lead investigations related to compliance incidents, and regulatory issues. Document findings, take corrective actions, and develop preventive measures to reduce future risks
  • Supporting the Business in Risk Management: Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management and cross-functional teams to identify and manage risks associated with new initiatives, products, and services
  • Overseeing and Conducting Audits and Assessments: conduct and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Fostering a Culture of Compliance: Act as a compliance ambassador within the organization, promoting awareness of compliance obligations and fostering a proactive approach to regulatory adherence

Preferred Qualifications

  • EAP or clinical compliance experience is a plus
  • DMHC experience is preferred
