Summary

The Senior Manager, Data Engineering is responsible for overseeing the Data Engineering team, leading projects, making decisions, and resolving operational issues. They must have a Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of experience, preferably with people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team members and projects of the data engineering team and ensure delivery in a timely manner while meeting the requirements set forth by the business
• Facilitates communication upward and across project team including project status and technical information
• Ensures projects are completed according to product specifications and are properly documented
• Implement product features and refine specifications with our Data scientists, Data Analysts and Data Architects
• Resolve operational issues by collaborating with upstream support groups and other engineering teams
• Anticipates talent needs, allowing team members to provide input, and leads effort to find the right resources
• Manages performance of people managers and individual contributors
