Summary

Join Vonage's IT team as a Senior Manager of IT Asset Management and CMDB. This critical role involves building and leading a team to deliver and maintain a world-class ITAM and CMDB function, vital to Vonage's IT strategy. You will oversee the CMDB's management and accuracy, implement and maintain discovery processes, design and maintain the CMDB data model, and develop asset lifecycle management policies and standards. The position requires broad technical knowledge, data analysis experience, global team leadership skills, and strong communication abilities. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall management and accuracy of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data quality, defining data models, establishing processes for data entry and updates, collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information, and monitoring compliance with CMDB standards to maintain a reliable and up-to-date view of the IT infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain discovery, providing governance to ensure data completeness and accuracy
  • Design and maintain the CMDB data model, including CI relationships
  • Develop and document processes for data entry, updates, and retirement
  • Review and approve updates to CMDB attributes and classifications
  • Monitor and review data inconsistencies and remediate as needed
  • Develop IT asset lifecycle management policies and standards to be adhered to across the organization by asset owners
  • Implement processes for governance for adherence to standards and policies by asset owners
  • Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPI) to track and report on asset management inventory and lifecycle
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining the consolidated asset inventory
  • Exhibit strong communication, collaboration and conflict management skills to establish and maintain relationships with IT, business functions, customers, and 3rd parties
