Summary

Join FloQast as a Senior Manager of Privacy & Data Governance to manage the company's privacy and data governance programs. This position requires 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Compliance, or Information Management with a strong technical background. The role offers a base pay range of $140,000- $170,000 and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, family forming benefits, life & disability insurance, unlimited vacation, and participation in the Employee Stock Program.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Data Governance, Data Compliance and/or Information Management disciplines
  • Subject matter expertise and practical experience with data governance practices related to compliance with one or more of the following: GDPR, CCPA, SOC, SOX, and/or other applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with data governance tools and data quality management tools
  • Strong technical background, with experience driving data governance initiatives across compliance, finance, sales/marketing and engineering teams
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data inventory
  • Serve as the project manager for all privacy compliance projects across FloQast, including GDPR and CPRA
  • Manage FloQast’s third-party privacy management process
  • Design and implement data mapping
  • Deploy and help to improve data governance program management processes and technologies
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and other relevant functions to formalize data governance compliance throughout the organization
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data protection standards, data quality standards, and related training and adoption requirements across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive data impact analysis and data quality initiatives
  • Accountable for creation and maintenance of appropriate documentation including operating procedures for all process-related responsibilities
