Requirements

  • Proven ability to translate business goals into scalable technology solutions
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and software development best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on engineering pragmatism and ROI-driven decision-making
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in leading teams to develop front-end and back-end solutions in cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices
  • Strong background in enterprise SaaS, APIs, and microservices architectures
  • Experience in driving security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud environments

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute technical and product roadmaps in collaboration with the CTO and product leadership
  • Oversee engineering priorities, resource allocation, and work distribution to meet organizational needs
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation in product development
  • Partner with key business stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align product strategy with business objectives
  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions
  • Translate business and product requirements into technical specifications
  • Work closely with DevOps and data teams to optimize product performance and reliability
  • Ensure user-centric design principles are incorporated into development efforts
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and engineering best practices
  • Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, and agile product delivery teams to drive alignment across product development lifecycles
  • Establish strong vendor relationships to ensure strategic alignment with long-term business objectives
  • Drive the implementation of best-in-class software engineering methodologies
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent
  • Conduct performance evaluations and career development plans for team members
  • Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
