Requirements
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide engineering teams
- Proven ability to translate business goals into scalable technology solutions
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and software development best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on engineering pragmatism and ROI-driven decision-making
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders at all levels
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in leading teams to develop front-end and back-end solutions in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices
- Strong background in enterprise SaaS, APIs, and microservices architectures
- Experience in driving security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Define and execute technical and product roadmaps in collaboration with the CTO and product leadership
- Oversee engineering priorities, resource allocation, and work distribution to meet organizational needs
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation in product development
- Partner with key business stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align product strategy with business objectives
- Lead a team of engineers in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions
- Translate business and product requirements into technical specifications
- Work closely with DevOps and data teams to optimize product performance and reliability
- Ensure user-centric design principles are incorporated into development efforts
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and engineering best practices
- Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, and agile product delivery teams to drive alignment across product development lifecycles
- Establish strong vendor relationships to ensure strategic alignment with long-term business objectives
- Drive the implementation of best-in-class software engineering methodologies
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent
- Conduct performance evaluations and career development plans for team members
- Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
