Summary

Join Tines, a leading workflow automation platform, as a Senior Manager of Security Operations. This key role, reporting to the Head of IT Operations & Information Security, focuses on growing and maturing the Security Operations team. You will hire and manage automation-focused Security Engineers, track team performance, and collaborate with product and engineering teams on security initiatives. The position requires extensive experience in security operations and automation, including managing on-call rotations and vulnerability remediation. Requirements

  • 12+ years experience in a security role on a high demand security team, preferably in an Security Operations role
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Prior management experience, particularly hiring experience
  • Familiarity with securing container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Background of automating security tasks with SOAR tools and/or languages like Ruby/Python/Go
  • Experience staffing an on-call rotation
  • Excellent analytical & time management skills with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively with peers

Responsibilities

  • Hiring automation focused Security Engineers to help us scale
  • Tracking and reporting team & project performance using impactful metrics
  • Managing and mentoring Security Engineers across different experience levels
  • Aligning with our product and engineering teams to support security projects and initiatives across our entire stack
  • Scaling our detection and response capabilities across our stack
  • Tracking and driving vulnerability remediation across our code base and cloud infrastructure
  • Assisting with security training to ensure our employees are up to date on the latest security threats
  • Acting as an escalation point for automated detections that are raised for human review
  • Overseeing on-call operations, including incident commander responsibilities during security incidents
  • Collaborating with our Federal Program Manager and other roles on security controls and requirements related to FedRAMP environments
  • Automating as much of this as possible!
