Summary
Join Intersect Power, a leading clean energy company, as a Senior Manager, Tax Planning. Lead tax planning at both corporate and project partnership levels, collaborating extensively with various departments. Support teams in tax credits, incentives, partnership taxation, and tax structuring. Monitor and analyze tax legislation changes, and work closely with external counsel and accounting firms. Requirements
- MST, J.D. or LLM with 5+ years of experience at a large multinational corporation or law/public accounting firms
- Knowledge of partnership rules under Subchapter K and U.S. consolidated income tax rules
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate complex tax matters with executive leadership
- Self-starter - willing to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively across the Company
Responsibilities
- Work with the Tax Reporting and Compliance team to manage corporate tax forecasts and identify and implement tax planning opportunities
- Support the Capital Markets team and external counsel in the structuring of tax equity partnerships, drafting and negotiation of deal documents, reviewing models, and supporting diligence and structuring
- Work closely with the Policy team to monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and effectively communicate impact to executives and relevant internal stakeholders
- Support the Procurement team in drafting of supplier agreements and negotiating tax requirements
- Support Development and Capital Markets teams on tax assumptions included in project and financial models and opportunities to increase tax efficiencies
