Senior Marketing Data Scientist

Join Blend, an award-winning consultancy, as a Senior Marketing Scientist and transform complex marketing data into actionable insights. You will partner with clients, offering data-driven recommendations to support their marketing goals. Responsibilities include designing analytical solutions, collaborating with data science teams, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. You will develop performance dashboards and reports, analyze data across multiple digital channels, and oversee the creation of marketing performance reports. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with major brands and contribute to impactful business decisions. The position can be 100% remote if you reside in LATAM or you can work from the Montevideo, Uruguay office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 2–6 years of professional experience in marketing/media analytics or a related analytical role
• Proficiency working with data from platforms such as Google Ads, Search Ads 360, DV360, Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads Data Hub, Pinterest, Appsflyer, etc
• Experience analyzing web traffic and engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as R, Python, Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience handling large datasets using SQL or cloud-based data environments like Hadoop or AWS
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to distill complex data into clear insights that drive business value
• Strong team collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team
• 3+ years' of experience in similar roles

Responsibilities

• Interpret media and marketing performance data to generate insights that fuel business growth and strategic direction
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering subject matter expertise and data-driven recommendations to support their marketing goals
• Design and execute analytical solutions that evaluate campaign effectiveness and forecast key metrics such as impressions, clicks, and budget pacing
• Collaborate closely with data science teams to build models that enhance marketing performance and campaign planning
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders from marketing, product, and sales teams to align data strategies with broader business goals
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, deep-dive reports, and presentations that clearly communicate results and recommendations
• Analyze data across multiple digital channels—Search, Display, Social Media, Email, etc.—to detect trends, identify opportunities, and optimize strategies
• Oversee the creation and upkeep of marketing performance reports and serve as the main point of contact for analytics-related inquiries
