Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in merchandising or related roles, with a focus on apparel, accessories and home goods
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly
• Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms with vendors and partners
• Experience in leading and developing teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with Sundance goals and market trends
• Curate and manage product assortments based on customer preferences, sales data, and market research
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and managing contracts to ensure favorable pricing and product availability
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to make data-driven decisions regarding inventory management and product assortment
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive product launches and promotions
• Oversee budgeting for product categories, ensuring profitability and efficient allocation of resources
• Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and merchandising strategies
