Senior .NET Engineer

Summary

The job is for a senior software engineer at 3Pillar Global. The role involves architecting transformative solutions, participating in agile software development, and collaborating with team members to drive client success. Minimum qualifications include experience in C#, .Net Framework, Microsoft SQL, REST API, Agile methodologies, Object-Oriented Programming principles, high-level design proficiency, expertise in creating enterprise-level systems, good understanding of SOLID principles, and proficiency in English. Additional desired experience includes architectural patterns, queuing, working in the cloud, knowledge of NO-SQL databases, ORMs, unit testing, containers using Docker/Kubernetes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below
• C#
• .Net Framework
• Microsoft SQL
• REST API
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation)
• High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate
• Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems
• Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization
• Good understanding of SOLID principles
• Familiarity with OWASP
• Proficiency in the English language

Responsibilities

• Craft client code that is not just efficient, but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality
• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients
• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements
• Effectively communicate with client project stakeholders regarding project sprint task status
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities
• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, and supporting the growth of technical capabilities
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Architectural (Microservices, Serverless, etc) and Design (Factory, Singleton, Observer, etc) Patterns
• Queuing (e.g. Azure SB), and async processing
• Working in the Cloud (e.g. AWS)
• Knowledge of NO-SQL databases (with a preference for DynamoDB)
• Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs)
