Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Join our Infrastructure Engineering team as a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer. You will design, implement, and manage our hybrid networking environments, leveraging your expertise in Zscaler, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls, and Meraki. Ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our network infrastructure are maintained. Responsibilities include optimizing network traffic, integrating Zscaler solutions, administering Palo Alto firewalls, and managing Meraki infrastructure. You will also monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco networking environments, adhering to company security policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and detailed documentation are crucial aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Proficiency in hybrid network design, implementation, and management
• Strong knowledge of Data Center networking, Zscaler technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and Meraki and Cisco ACI and traditional networking tools
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on diagnosing and resolving complex network issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in network configuration and documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA), Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki full stack, and Cisco networking solutions
• Zscaler certifications (ZCCA, ZTCA)
• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA/E)
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid network infrastructures that integrate on-premises data centers with Azure cloud environments
• Develop and enforce network architecture standards, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Optimize network traffic within Azure and between on-premises and cloud environments
• Implement and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for secure and efficient access to internet and internal resources
• Integrate Zscaler solutions into the organization's security framework
• Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls to maintain robust security across on-premises and cloud environments
• Deploy and manage Meraki switches, security appliances, and wireless infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure reliability
• Oversee traditional Cisco networking environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and hybrid environments
• Maintain and optimize existing Cisco ACI and Route/Switch infrastructure
• Ensure all network solutions adhere to company security policies and industry regulations
• Conduct security assessments and work with security teams to address vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
