Summary
Join Agility Robotics' growing legal team as a Sr. Paralegal, reporting to the General Counsel and supporting the entire legal team. You will assist in drafting and filing corporate documents, maintaining corporate records, managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, and assisting with contract management and legal research. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to attorneys and supporting litigation efforts. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information. Big Law and in-house paralegal experience are preferred. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate by an ABA certified program
- Organization and communication skills are a must
- Highly responsible and accountable with a strong bias for action, with an ability to consistently drive results
- Must be able to handle highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and filing various corporate documents, including articles of incorporation, bylaws, minutes of meetings, and annual reports
- Maintain and update corporate records, such as shareholder and director information, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Maintain cap table management systems, prepare and manage equity issuances and stock plan administration
- Assist with managing and maintaining the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing various contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Conduct legal research to support corporate actions and decisions, keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, document management, and other tasks
- Provide support for litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints
- Audit, organize and manage document management system and records
Preferred Qualifications
- Big Law and inhouse paralegal experience
- Notary license
