Join Affirm and provide day-to-day technical support to external partners. Lead the development of project plans, including solution design, timeline forecasting, and testing. Develop integration support materials and documentation for new products and feature updates. Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to build partnership roadmaps. Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for technical challenges. Maintain clear communication with external partners, fostering strong relationships. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and project success. Provide feedback on integration strategy and potential product enhancements. Requirements
- 4+ years experience in a Solutions Engineering, Partner Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or any other customer-facing engineering role
- Ability to read and understand multiple programming languages
- Experience with long-term project planning and execution
- Experience with Ecommerce technologies and data models
- Thorough understanding of JSON, HTML, REST API, and Webhook technologies
- Thorough understanding of the following concepts: integrating UX elements w/ backend services, frameworks, and 3rd party developer APIs
- Experience with observability tools and applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong project management skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders to stay on schedule
- Passion and drive to change consumer banking for the better
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day support for technical questions from external partner stakeholders
- Lead the development of project plans by driving solution designs, timeline forecasting, task break-down, and testing strategy
- Develop integration support material and documentation for new products rollouts and feature updates
- Collaborate with Product + Eng leadership to build out partnership roadmaps
- Serves as an overarching SME and point of escalation for internal and external teams facing technical challenges
- Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with external partners to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables, while fostering strong, long-term relationships
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination, share insights, and drive projects to successful completion while maintaining open and constructive communication
- Provide feedback on integration strategy, potential product enhancements, and operational workflows
