Summary
Join Unity as a Partner Engineer, leveraging your mobile games development expertise to collaborate with the EMEA sales team. In this role, you will work directly with key clients, developing technical solutions and acting as a trusted advisor. Your responsibilities include building relationships with technical decision-makers, providing in-depth consultations, and supporting clients pre- and post-sales. A background in software and games development, along with experience with Unity's tools and pipelines, is essential. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the EMEA region or from offices in Brighton, London, or Copenhagen. Relocation support and work visa sponsorship are not provided.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of customer-centric service, consistent on-time delivery of custom customer solutions, and team-first approach
- Shipped mobile games professionally, either built on Unity or other real-time engines
- Deep experience with the Scriptable Render Pipelines, including URP and HDRP
- A comprehensive understanding of Asset bundles, Addressables and Profiling
- A sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges in this language
Responsibilities
- Form relationships with technical decision makers, positioning Unity as the key leader with vision in the Gaming industry, thus becoming a trusted adviser to the customer
- Host in-depth discussions with developers who are planning to or are already using Unity
- Be a go-to consultative resource and solutions specialist for the greater business development team comfortably supporting clients both pre and post-sales
- Sharing our experiences and knowledge is a key value to the partner engineering team, help us in building a culture of growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing, pre-sales, solutions engineering, or field engineering role
- Experience shipping a multiplayer title
- Fluent in a second language
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
