Requirements

• Extensive experience within a senior payroll role
• Deep understanding of Payroll Operations, Benefits, Services and Process Improvements
• Extensive experience of implementing and maintaining global governance of payroll controls
• Demonstrated capability in handling complex, compliance-heavy tasks, leveraging analytical skills for effective problem-solving
• Experience in making recommendations for process improvements and ensuring that they are implemented
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive results in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that ensures the individual can engage effectively with Senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in data manipulation (eg sql, excel, sheets)
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
• You understand the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously
• You write and speak fluent English
• You write and speak fluent local language the Country of your expertise

Responsibilities

• Act as a Senior Payroll Project Manager expert to drive PMO function
• Work with existing verticals, domains and teams to further improve cross-functional execution and deliveries
• Leaning into efficiency, automation and integration from the start of a project
• Leaning into Remote's values when making strategic decisions
• Coordinate with remote internal teams to facilitate testing and integration of recommendations
• Build and maintain the future of payroll with Remote product, engineer and operations teams
• Provide support and training on Project Management to the Payroll Team
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Maintain frequent communication with stakeholders
• Work closely with remote teams, including Product, Engineering, Tax and Accounting to develop Payroll solutions through proprietary software
• Identify solutions to challenges, inconsistencies, and obstacles by collaborating with necessary stakeholders
