Summary

Join Figma's growing team as a Senior Payroll Specialist and become an integral part of our payroll operations. You will be responsible for processing US payroll, preparing journal entries, and leading projects. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless coordination. The position is full-time and can be based in one of our US hubs or remotely within the United States. You will report directly to the Senior Payroll Manager. Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing experience
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance
  • Experience creating journal entries
  • Experience recording equity transactions including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, and ESPP
  • Demonstrated understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes
  • Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Commitment to customer service

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll using Workday Payroll
  • Review timesheets, attendance records and leave of absence pay
  • Audit payroll tax records
  • Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay
  • Create journal entries related to payroll transactions
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to provide commentary on flux and trends
  • Participate in audits for 401k, Workers Compensation, and general audit
  • File quarterly taxes and issue W-2s
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc payroll reports to various internal departments such as Finance, Accounting, Tax and Equity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing small to medium sized projects including implementations
  • Experience using Netsuite
  • Experience at a high growth B2B SaaS company
  • CPP certification
