Senior Performance Test Engineer Team Lead

Summary

The job description is for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join a QA team in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia. The role involves leading a team to design, run, and analyze tests on a client's POS software, focusing on performance and scalability. The candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on automation testing experience, proficiency with tools like Gatling and K6, and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience, including performance and load testing
• Proficiency with tools like Gatling and K6
• Experience tracking performance metrics, identifying and fixing bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting improvements
• Background in mobile application performance testing (Android, iOS, React Native will be a plus)
• Strong Docker skills
• Experience with AWS services
• Strong leadership skills and QA team leadership experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Responsibilities

Lead the team in enhancing our POS system’s performance and stability, actively conducting tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions for the client

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the fintech domain and POS solutions
• SQL DB knowledge and working experience
• Experience creating comprehensive testing frameworks for POS from scratch
