Summary

Join CloudLinux, a global remote-first company, as a Senior PHP Developer to own and enhance vital WHMCS plugins for Imunify and CloudLinux. You will maintain and improve existing plugin infrastructure, implement new features, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure robust testing and documentation. Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience with PHP
  • Strong knowledge of PHP
  • Strong knowledge of WHMCS plugin development
  • MySQL expertise and experience
  • Experience with PHPUnit testing
  • Strong understanding of HTML, and JavaScript
  • Basic Linux skills
  • Intermediate and higher level of English
  • Version control/code management (Gerrit/Git)

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the maintenance and continuous improvement of our existing WHMCS plugin infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance for our Imunify and CloudLinux integrations, including their crucial connections to external services
  • Implementing new features and enhancements directly within our WHMCS plugins, with a strong focus on seamless integration with our external API services (e.g., billing system, licensing server, and other 3rd party APIs) and enabling robust communication between WHMCS and various hosting control panels
  • Addressing technical issues by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs in a timely and efficient manner across all plugin functionalities and integrations
  • Ensuring the reliability and quality of our WHMCS plugin code through comprehensive test coverage, including thorough unit testing, particularly for all new and existing API and control panel integrations
  • Developing and maintaining clear, detailed technical documentation specific to our WHMCS plugins, covering system architecture, codebase, workflows, API integrations, and control panel communication processes. You'll ensure this documentation is regularly updated to reflect changes, serving as a crucial resource for both current and future team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced (admin-level) Linux skills
  • Experience with Playwright end-to-end testing
