Summary

Join Docplanner's Patients Engagement team as an experienced software engineer with a strong PHP/Symfony background. Empower patients by making their health accessible, understandable, and actionable. Contribute to backend development, working with a team using Symfony 6 and PHP 8.2, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and other technologies. The role requires 5+ years of web application experience, proficiency in PHP and Symfony, and a solid understanding of OOP principles. Requirements

  • Have more than 5 years of experience working on web applications
  • Work with PHP and Symfony
  • Have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • Work with tools such as Git, ELK Stack, DataDog, MySQL, GitHub Actions
  • Work with Amazon Web Services
  • Have practical experience of designing the backend architecture and APIs
  • Know how to test your code
  • Be used to working in an Agile, high-autonomy environment
  • Care about product management and understanding user needs
  • Communicate in English – both spoken and written - min. B2 level

Responsibilities

  • Develop backend features for the patient engagement platform
  • Collaborate with the product team in an agile environment
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience building APIs processing millions of requests
  • Have experience around security, authentication flows and authorization
  • Have experience working with Docker
  • Have experience working in DevOps Culture
  • Have experience with data encryption and data protection
