Summary

Requirements

• Proven experience in PHP development, including a strong understanding of modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns
• Proficiency in database design and optimization, with experience working with MySQL, MariaDB or similar databases
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration
• Experience in dealing with large scale web applications
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience with TDD (Unit tests, Integration Testing)
• Experience with ELK Stack, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Comfortable working with Linux CLI (Ubuntu)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality PHP applications, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Identify and address technical challenges, debugging and troubleshooting to maintain the stability of existing applications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our development processes and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to deliver exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
• Knowledge of Golang
• Previous involvement in open-source projects or contributions to the developer community
• Knowledge of UNIX, and Nginx
