Remote Senior Software Developer (.Net)

Summary

The job is for a software development role with 6 years of experience in web & software development. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 6 years’ overall relevant experience of web & software development
• Proficiency in C# programming
• Strong practice in writing various levels of testing: Unit, Integration, and Functional
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs
• Expertise in SQL development and ORM technologies, including Entity Framework Core
• Competence in version control using GitHub
• Experienced in ASP.NET Core framework
• Working knowledge of Docker containerization
• Proven experience in Agile and DevOps cultures
• Understanding of Microservices architecture

Responsibilities

• Use Microsoft technologies to develop solutions to complex problems
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to requirements
• Develop, maintain and support programs/tools for clients
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve application errors
• Help define project plans and provide expertise in application development
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Investigate and resolve operational problems and user queries
• Follow department standards and methodologies
• Communicate effectively with staff, management and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferably Product Development experience in Financial Services or Banking industry
• Working exposure on International projects is highly desirable
