Summary

Join Adverity as a Senior Platform Engineer and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our critical infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across our platform. This full-time position offers remote work options within Europe or from our offices in Vienna, London, Katowice, or Sofia. You will take ownership of internal development and delivery infrastructure, manage production and development environments, and design a scalable cloud architecture. You'll also maintain automated platform services, ensure platform security, and identify opportunities for technical improvement. Adverity offers competitive salaries and a range of benefits.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience
  • A solid understanding of cloud hosting environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Strong Linux operating system affinity
  • Experience building, adjusting, and applying Terraform configurations
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps (ArgoCD), and artifactories (JFrog or Nexus)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Knowledge of database systems, especially PostgreSQL
  • The ability to take full ownership of your domain
  • Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams dedicated to critical components of the Adverity platform
  • Take ownership of internal development and delivery infrastructure
  • Access, manage, and maintain production and development environments
  • Design, provision, monitor, and optimise a scalable cloud architecture
  • Maintain an automated foundation of platform services
  • Ensure platform security by implementing and adhering to best practices
  • Act as an ambassador for the technical services owned by the team
  • Identify and implement opportunities for technical improvement
  • Analyse complex systems to identify bottlenecks and optimise performance
  • Engage with engineers and leadership to share knowledge and contribute to technical strategies
