Summary

Join Goldbelly as a Principal Platform Engineer and build, maintain, and expand the infrastructure and platforms supporting our Product and Data teams. You will own our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, and maintaining our cloud-native approach. This role reports to the VP of Engineering Operations and is part of the Cloud team, responsible for site reliability, security, and performance. You'll collaborate, identify, and implement the best technology. This is a chance to redefine the food industry, requiring passion and a belief in your skills. Goldbelly empowers top food makers nationwide, offering a complex challenge in perishable shipping.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as Platform Engineer with AWS
  • Experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS
  • Experience with IaC and Terraform
  • Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience managing Ruby on Rails and/or Python services
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning workloads
  • Experience in using Kafka

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and expand the infrastructure and platforms that support our Product and Data teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with Postgres/Aurora
  • Experience in using CircleCI
  • Experience in using Datadog
  • Experience with Heroku
  • Experience working with modern data infrastructure (Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Atlan)

Benefits

  • $160,000 - $200,000 base salary range (dependent on experience level and interview performance)
