Summary

The job is for a Platform Cloud Engineer at Nearsure, a remote staff augmentation company. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any engineering career
• 5+ Years of experience working Cloud (AWS OR Azure OR GCP)
• 5+ Years of experience working with Java
• 3+ Years of experience working with APIs
• 3+ Years of experience working with Security Tools (SCA, DAST, SAST or Container Scanning)
• 3+ Years of experience working with DevOps Tools (CircleCi, Jenkins, Azure Devops or Harness)
• 3+ Years of experience working with Terraform
• 3+ Years of experience working with Docker
• 3+ Years of experience working with Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Internal Developer Platform using Java for seamless cloud transition
• Treat automation as first-class software, ensuring independence in compilation and testing
• Implement strong security practices, including container and source code scanning
• Uphold high standards of quality and security in the software engineering process
• Apply expertise in AWS or Azure PaaS services, including Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Route 53, and more
• Demonstrate familiarity with AWS Networking fundamentals
• Use observability tools for effective system monitoring and incident response
• Write clear technical documentation and mentor team members in DevOps best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
