Summary

CertiK is a pioneering blockchain security company founded by professors from Yale University and Columbia University. They are seeking a Senior Policy Advisor in Cryptocurrency to shape their approach to cryptocurrency policy, engage with regulatory bodies, and ensure practices align with global standards. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in policy development, legislative affairs, or regulatory compliance, with a focus on cryptocurrency or financial technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy development, legislative affairs, or regulatory compliance, with a specific focus on cryptocurrency or financial technologies
• Strong understanding of the blockchain technology ecosystem and related regulatory issues
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including government officials and industry leaders

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the implementation of policy strategies and initiatives related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Engage with legislators, regulators, and other stakeholders to advocate for favorable policies that promote innovation and security in the blockchain space
• Monitor global regulatory developments and trends in cryptocurrency to proactively adapt company strategies
• Provide expert advice and policy recommendations to senior management on matters related to cryptocurrency regulation
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and technical teams to ensure that our products and services comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and public hearings
